When I was young the only role models for lesbians were women who had murdered or had been murdered or women who had committed suicide. Poor sad twisted people. And nobody could call the Topp Twins sad or twisted. So they're bringing into the open that healthy cheerful rural cowgirl image. (They've) Just made a huge difference to a lot of us.

The documentary is not innovative in the way that it is made, but enormously gratifying on a humanitarian scale!

Lee Na-young is making the most of her upcoming cameo appearance on MBC’s hit sitcom High Kick Through the Roof, because not only this an unusual television appearance for her, the part also happens to be male. (something like Milk the white engine!) Famous people promoting Milk and in my memory the models were sporting milk staches, now looking at the old pictures i can find no milk mustache, it seems like a already dreamed about fake mustaches in the seventies ....

January Milk Mustache month is my motto for this week. Both in Holland and in the USA the milk industry
has been promoting milk by means of milkmustaches over decades. In the USA milk producers used the stache to make milk more fashionable and cool for the big public. The slogan got milk? was licensed to the National Milk Processor Board (MilkPEP) in 1998 to use on their celebrity print ads, which since 1995, included celebrities from the fields of sports, media and entertainment, as well as fictional characters from TV and film such as The Simpsons and Batman, posing in print advertisements sporting a "milk mustache", employing the slogan, Where's your mustache?

Na de transactie met Pablo hadden de twee vriendinnen de nieuwe coke ‘getest’ en waren ze in bed gaan liggen. Ze waren er pas tegen zeven uur ’s avonds weer uitgekomen, om te douchen en uit eten te gaan: Moéma had Thaïs royaal uitgenodigd voor de Trapiche, het beste restaurant van de stad.Opgetogen bij het vooruitzicht de conformistische gasten van dat etablissement te choqueren, deden ze er ruim een uur over om zich op te maken en een outfit te kiezen. Thaïs lakte haar nagels paars, bijna zwart, smeerde een snijdend rode lippenstift op haar lippen en trok haar lievelingsjurk aan: een lange tuniek van bijna doorzichtige roze mousseline, ingesnoerd in de taille en bezaaid met metallic-blauwe plastic sterretjes. Got these pictures from Viola, a bit of a different angle this time; Viola talks of we when she writes me: " For the WorldExpo 2010 we made a city portrait of the red-light district in Thailand, but the hookers stayed away from us; thats why I decided to dress like a man, i drew a mustache and a little beard, taped my breasts, and waved my arms in a sturdy way...I almost sweated my stach of...."

The film will be shown on Hollanddoc in the series CityOneMinutes.

I like to think the person in the picture is a girl, but hé,who cares. This is a free card made by Boomerang (does not state who designed it) and is also made as a reminder to fight cancer like the Movember action. (see below) Only in Holland we do things differently and we take the dull month of february instead of November. The mustache is easy to remove from the card (due to perforation) and can be worn As You Like It.

It all started with this photo. I was immensely drawn to this photo, it was sexy and different & new. In my memory it depicted a woman with a mustache being shaved. Looking at it now I realized it was just foam! So you can see the memory always plays pranks with you!

It was the start of a new fascination: WOMEN WITH FAKE MUSTACHES. It combines sexiness & acting queer with humor.

Over time i started to collect photo's that I want to share with you. Also hoping it might be a start in expanding my collection :-)
